Partnerships and affiliates
I consider sponsorships, affiliate tools, and guest posts that help software engineers. That usually means developer tools, infrastructure, books, and courses that fit system design, distributed systems, databases, and similar topics.
If you are pitching, include:
- Who you are and the product or company
- What you want to promote
- Why it fits readers of this blog
- Budget, if you have one
A short, specific email is easier to answer than a long generic one.
What I skip
I do not take pitches for crypto, gambling, or anything that does not belong on a software engineering blog. I also skip generic SEO emails and “guest post for a backlink” offers with no real topic.
Other ways to say hello
For a normal conversation, LinkedIn and X work well. I write about what I am working on there.
Use email for work pitches. Use social for chat.
